Design & Architecture
Our establishment was originally built in 1906 by renowned Hungarian Architect Nagy István, known for his eclectic vision blending neo-renaissance and art-nouveau architectural styles. The building was designed for the esteemed Hermann printing and publishing house, which played a crucial role in the dissemination and development of Hungarian literature and intellectual works during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. After its closure in the late 1950’s, the building was transformed into a residential address, though its rich history remains preserved through protected status, safeguarding its architectural legacy to this day.
Maison 45 has been thoughtfully restored to preserve the essence of home, familiarity, and privacy, beautifully reflecting the soul of local heritage within an intimate and refined setting.
